Holding firm to principles: It is always right

Each one of us has a unique set of principles, beliefs and a way of carrying on with the business of being part of this world. Although each of one of these elements may not be unique on its own, the set itself is unique. We may call this a doctrine that determines to a large degree our path in life. Our own doctrine changes over time as we go through the different phases of life, meeting and interacting with people, experiencing love, doubts, hurt and hatred and above all going through struggle with others who try to dominate or steer us in a certain way.

Many come under pressure to relinquish some or many of their principles and rights to please those who seek dominance over them. It happens when you live under an authoritarian regime or a life partner who lays out conditions to keep up a relationship you fear to lose.

The interesting part about all this is that it pays to defy that manipulation and hold firm to your principles. Simply put it! It is not worth to live as a slave.

Women are going to rule the earth

Women are different from men. I do not mean it in a demeaning way. In the contrary, I believe men are the other half of women and not the other way around. We men ruled the Earth for millennia, but we are steadily losing our grip to women. Women are more adaptive, healthier, and have a better grip on reality. The Mother is the more important figure in the family than father, and children know that. In the West, many men run from responsibility leaving the rearing of children to women. If you happen to live in the West, you will meet many people who were raised by single moms. This phenomenon is distant to put women in the front seat in society.

I believe that these sociological shifts in human societies across the world are going to alter how humans, especially men, are going to look in the next few centuries. Men will evolve into species with features more appealing to women, and not the opposite. Up to modern times, men choose women to make families and “breed”. The process is being reversed. Women will pick their mates. It will be interesting to know what women really like in men, because this is going to be the deciding factor in the next phase of human evolvement.

The arrogant creature

It is amazing how vulnerable and fragile humans are. It is amazing that we have survived that long as a species. We are particularly physically weak in comparison to other animals. We are hairless, at least most of us, and have thin skin. So we can not survive for long in the outdoors without cloths. And despite this we are arrogant, selfish, and have no real sense of mortality.

The Eagles

I have a mansion
Forget the price
Ain't never been there
They tell me it's nice

I live in hotels
Tear out the walls
I have accountants
Pay for it all

They say I'm crazy but I have a good time
I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime
Life's been good to me so far

My Maserati
Does one eighty-five
I lost my license
Now I don't drive

I have a limo
Ride in the back
I lock the doors
In case I'm attacked

I'm making records
My fans they can't wait
They write me letters
Tell me I'm great

So I got me an office
Gold records on the wall
ust leave a message
Maybe I'll call

Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through
(Everybody sing) I'm cool (He's cool)
I can't complain but sometimes I still do
Life's been good to me so far

I go to parties
Sometimes until four
It's hard to leave
When you can't find the door

It's tough to handle
This fortune and fame
Everybody's so different
I haven't changed

They say I'm lazy but it takes all my time
(Everybody sing) Oh yeah (Oh yeah)
I keep on going guess I'll never know why
Life's been good to me so far baby,
inside the Sad Cafe.

Life

I believe that Life is a journey that does not need to lead to somewhere else. Enjoy it as is and cherish the company of your loved ones.
